FOR THE BEAUTY PROFESSIONAL IN A SALON:
While many of our alumni are also Licensed Beauty professionals, some stylists may never wish to outside of the salon doing makeup. If that is you, we offer education for the salon beauty professional, as well.
One day educational classes are available to the licensed beauty professional to gain additional knowledge in a particular area of makeup artistry. (A printable listing is available on the website under one day classes.) The cost of the ONE DAY classes vary depending on the class subject and hours of study from 3.5 hours to a full day class of 5.5-hours. If more extensive training is requested, it can be covered in a week long program (see Crash Course #1). Depending on your specific needs, all our customized training inquiries may contact the school to discuss your personal or group training needs! Group rates for three or more artists from one salon are available. Ask for details!
If you are a salon owner, or working in a Licensed Salon Spa, and would like specialized makeup education for yourself or your staff please call the school at 612-824-3000! We offer education at our facility or in yours! We can help set up a makeup bar in your facility, help with ordering of products, and get your staff working to create a full-service center for all types of makeup such as; airbrushing for weddings, special events, prom, etc.
Please inquire at the school for information regarding any specific classes you may see or need that are not on this class offerings-we have the ability to train in every area of Makeup application and can customize a class for your needs.
THE EVENT LICENSE: the event license is required in the State of MN for those beauty professionals that are working outside the salon environment doing makeup services. Please refer to your State Board of Cosmetology for more information or ask us about it.
Currently Minnesota now has an Event License you can apply for to work your skills outside the Salon as a freelance Artist-contact the Beauty Board for more information!
NOTE: A NON-LICENSED person cannot be hired to do “Makeup only” in a licensed facility!
A $50 deposit per student is required to secure your place in a class-the deposit is transferable to another date if you need to cancel. Final payment is due one week prior to start date of education.
We accept major credit cards, cash, check, and money orders as forms of payment.
